Care Where It Matters Most
BRAMS is seeking a full-time Aged Care Registered Nurse & Enrolled Nurse based in Broome, WA.
In this role, you will deliver nursing care in a community setting, supporting aged care clients in their homes and helping them remain safe, well, and independent.
This is a community-based role, where you will be working out in the community rather than a traditional hospital setting.
You will play an important role in identifying changes in health, responding appropriately, and escalating concerns when needed to ensure safe and effective care delivery.
More specifically, your responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Providing clinical care and support to aged care clients in community and home settings
- Monitoring client health, wellbeing, and changes in condition
- Delivering care in line with individual care plans and clinical guidelines
- Administering medications and supporting clinical treatments as required
- Identifying risks or changes in condition and escalating concerns appropriately
- Maintaining accurate clinical documentation and records
- Working collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams to support client outcomes
- Supporting culturally safe, person-centred care across all services
Bring Your Clinical Skills and Community-Focused Approach
To qualify, you will need to be a Registered Nurse or Enrolled Nurse with current AHPRA registration.
You will bring experience in nursing, ideally within aged care, community health, or a similar setting.
Experience in aged care or community nursing will be highly regarded, but is not essential.
Additionally, the following skills and background will be highly valued:
- Strong clinical assessment and observation skills
- Ability to work independently in a community setting
- Confidence managing care delivery outside of a hospital environment
- Strong communication skills and ability to build relationships with clients
- Understanding of culturally safe practices and working with Aboriginal communities
- Ability to respond to changes in client condition and escalate when required
As our ideal candidate, you are someone who is comfortable working in the community and values building strong, respectful relationships with clients. You are confident working independently, able to assess situations as they arise, and take a thoughtful, proactive approach to care.
