BRAMS is looking for a full-time Child Health Manager based in Broome, WA. Reporting to the Clinical Services Executive Manager, this is a senior leadership role accountable for operational and clinical leadership of BRAMS’ Child Health services, ensuring delivery of culturally safe, high-quality, and accessible care to Aboriginal children and families.
More specifically, your responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Leading and managing child health teams and programs across the clinic and outreach services
- Providing high-level clinical governance and professional oversight of Child Health Nurses
- Coordinating workforce planning, supervision, development, and performance management
- Monitoring service performance, NKPIs, and reporting to ensure funding and contract compliance
- Ensuring services are aligned with BRAMS’ Model of Care and Quality Care Framework
- Coordinating multidisciplinary care planning and specialist outreach visits
- Leading continuous improvement, audits, risk management, and service innovation
- Representing Child Health services in internal and external stakeholder forums

What You Bring - Skills That Make a Difference
To qualify, you will need current registration as a Registered Nurse with a recognised Child Health qualification and demonstrated experience in child and family health service delivery, including in a leadership or management capacity.
Additionally, the following skills and background will be highly valued:
- Proven ability to lead clinical teams and manage operational outcomes
- High-level understanding of Aboriginal Community Controlled Health Services
- Strong skills in service planning, quality improvement, and clinical governance
- Experience working in remote or regional health contexts
- Knowledge of NKPIs, compliance, and funding frameworks
