As an Aboriginal community-controlled health service, BRAMS has proudly supported the Broome community for over 40 years through holistic, culturally responsive healthcare.

Delivering over 40,000 occasions of service annually, BRAMS provides a broad range of programs including primary health care, social and emotional wellbeing services, and NDIS support. About the Opportunities

BRAMS is looking for a full-time Psychosocial Manager based in Broome, WA.

This key leadership role reports to the Community Services Executive Manager and is responsible for overseeing multidisciplinary teams across aged care, disability, and mental health programs under BRAMS’ Psychosocial Services portfolio.

More specifically, your responsibilities include but are not limited to:

• Coordinating aged care, disability, mental health, and SEWB services across caseworkers, coordinators, and social workers
• Leading and inspiring a diverse multidisciplinary team across several program streams
• Embedding BRAMS’ Model of Care and Quality Care Framework into team operations
• Promoting person-centred case management and compliance in care plans and assessments
• Driving performance tracking, continuous improvement, and professional development
• Facilitating health promotion, community engagement, and team development initiatives
• Ensuring safe, culturally respectful, and values-aligned service delivery across all touchpoints

About You 

To qualify, you will need a tertiary qualification in Social Work, Psychology, or Mental Health, along with 2–3 years of demonstrated leadership experience in a relevant health or social services field. Experience in an Aboriginal Medical Service is highly desirable.

Additionally, the following skills and background will be highly valued:

• Aged care, disability, or NDIS service delivery experience
• Understanding of the Aboriginal Medical Service Model of Care
• Experience managing diverse, multidisciplinary teams
• Strong interpersonal, written, and cross-cultural communication skills
• Ability to adapt, think critically, and drive strategic outcomes
• Accountability and financial awareness in service delivery settings

As our ideal candidate, you will possess adaptability, strong leadership skills, solution focus, and a drive to grow services in line with community needs. You will demonstrate initiative and creativity in shaping the future of psychosocial support at BRAMS.
